For the amount of time we and our loved ones spend inside our homes during any given year, it is disappointing that more emphasis is not put on home safety. Granted, I understand why. Our homes are comforting. They’re where we sleep, eat most of our meals and relax in front of the TV after a long day on the job. But they’re also where our families congregate and where our children grow up. They represent many of the lasting memories of our lifetimes. Home safety, quite frankly, should be one of our most important priorities.
Recipients of The Safety Report continue to provide me with excellent feedback on the magazine. From what I can tell, The Safety Report is becoming the go- to publication for the latest information on safety and injury prevention. That’s something I’m very proud of.
